We are thrilled to be gathering at Ray’s Cottages, the official heart and home base for our weekend in the County! This year, we’re bringing the community together in one beautiful location where you can choose the stay that fits your vibe; whether it’s the comfort of a cabin, the adventure of camping, or the elevated feel of glamping. While you’re always welcome to stay elsewhere and join us for the day, there is nothing like waking up with the collective and heading straight to the water. Our little campers are welcome to join us at this event! The team at Ray's has truly done an incredible job decorating and setting up their cabins and glamps to offer the ultimate PEC experience; each cabin is equipped with a 2-piece bathroom and an outdoor shower, kitchen space, TV, a firepit, and linens are included. Glamps + Campsites use the Ray's inclusive washroom + shower spaces, located just across the parking lot. (Please ensure to read "Notes" at the bottom of the page!)
Your Weekend Ticket Includes:
* Accommodations: The photos truly do not do this amazing property justice; we have done our best to add what we can in photos. The cabins and glamps are cozy, clean, and have everything you will need to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay! The campsites are close by, the area is lush and green, and water views are all around!
* Friday Night Campfire: Sweets and treats (aka hot dogs and popcorn), with our camp-fam... the sweetest (and saltiest) way to unwind after a long week and head into the weekend refreshed and connected. We will have a catered charcuterie spread by Kierra at County Feasts to tickle our tastebuds when we arrive.
* Saturday Wellness: A curated morning with Spiritual Alchemy Wellness right on the shores of Ray's Cottages to ground us for the day ahead.
* The Ray’s Beach Takeover:We’re taking over the private beach at Ray's! Expect a DIY cocktail/mocktail bar, floaties, beach games, and a curated playlist to keep the energy high all afternoon.
* Saturday night (ladidumdeedadadaaaa): Featuring speed-friending, dream-night activations, quiet zones, and a pop-up merch & craft station. We will also be organizing an event jaunt to the Hayloft for an evening of Burlesque.
🗓️ The Flow of the Weekend
Friday Night:Meet-Up Check into your cabin, tent, or glamping suite at Ray's and unwind. We will meet you at your pace and you meet us at the campfire when you're ready! Join Chef Skylar (and the rest of our AQC team) for a laid-back campfire and acoustic jam session. Are you ready to dance? Serenade your pals with some requests? Roast some s'mores or hot-dogs?
Saturday: Sun, Spirit & Sound Start the morning at Ray's Cottages with a beach-side Coffee Hour ($), followed by our Morning Wellness Activity (Sound-bath/Meditation) led by the brilliant Lisa-Marie of Spiritual Alchemy Wellness.
Then, we transition straight into our Private Beach Takeover. No park passes or shuttles required; just pure vibes at Ray’s with music, beach programming, and plenty of space to lounge. Bring your own picnic and settle in for the afternoon. The property has waterfront views all around, so if you are hoping for amore quiet afternoon there is plenty of space to retreat and enjoy!
Saturday Night:Queer Magic After dinner, expect flags, polaroids, and "Queer-aoke". Whether you want to belt out a ballad or chill by a quiet campfire, we’ve got space for you. Alternatively, you have the option to be head to The Hayloft for an evening of the finest burlesque in the county (bus options available!)
Sunday:The Slow Down Take the morning to yourself before we wrap up with a "Leave No Trace" clean-up and land-back initiative at Ray's and a closing ceremony. And if you can, join us for a guided meditation/forest walk with Spiritual Alchemy Wellness at their property (10 minute drive), and followed by a community brunch at Stella’s Eatery ($) (40 minute drive) if you choose, (or organize with your new camp fam and head to another fave spot).
🎒 What to Bring
Beach Gear: Bathing suit, towel, and a picnic for the beach. Your kayak or SUP is also welcome! Campfire Cozies: Your favourite sweater and an acoustic instrument if you play (or that gorgeous singing voice!) The Basics: Your own food and drinks (aside from eats and drinks on Friday evening) and your preferred mode of transport around the County. Your clothing and toiletries. If you are camping you will need your mess kits and cooking set-up as well. Though we are sure there will be some communal cooking and connections and sharing (as we do at AQC).
