AQC Algonquin Backcountry Escape: Official Waitlist

Our Algonquin Backcountry Escape is our most intimate trip of the year, and the first of it's kind; strictly limited to 8 explorers to protect the land and ensure safety. Because spots are so limited, we have created this Priority Waitlist for those who are serious about joining us if a spot opens up. We have limited the waitlist to 15 spots in order to keep it fair!
You will receive a link to our WAITLIST questionnaire after your donation, so keep an eye out and fill out your details pretty please :)

How the Waitlist Works:

1. The Commitment: By "purchasing" a spot on the waitlist, you are moving to the front of the line. Your contribution acts as a non-refundable donation to A Queer Camp, supporting one camper to attend Sparrow Lake BIG CAMP in September! 

2. Priority Access: If a spot becomes available due to a cancellation, we will contact the waitlist in the order of sign-up.

3. Quick Turnaround: You will have 24 hours to claim the spot and pay the remaining ticket balance before we move to the next person in line.

Why is there a fee? As a small grassroots team, managing high-intensity backcountry logistics takes time and resources. This small fee ensures our waitlist is filled with folx who are ready to paddle! Even if you don't get off the waitlist this year, your donation helps us offer more trips in 2027.
